Snow Windrow Clearing Service Opt-out Request Form

The City provides snow windrow clearing service for 50,000+ local, residential driveways. A snow windrow is the pile of snow left at the bottom of a driveway after a snow plow has cleared the road.

If you do not wish to receive the City’s snow windrow clearing service this winter, please fill out and submit this form by November 15.

City staff will place a Richmond Hill branded reflective marker at the end of your driveway within two weeks of the deadline, so our plow operators can identify that you do not want your snow windrow cleared.

Please note that the City does not clear windrows on Regional roads.
