Fee Assistance Program

Please fill in the Total Income before Tax (Line 15000) as stated on your latest Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency for adults (18 years and older).  If applying for a family and using the Canada Child Benefit, fill in the Annual Net Family Income Amount from the Canada Revenue Agency Canada Child Benefit (CCB) notice.

Notice of Assessment or Canada Child Benefit (CCB) is required for all immediate family members that are adults (18 years and older) .  If you do not have a copy of your Notice of Assessment or Canada Child Benefit (CCB), you can contact the Canada Revenue Agency at 1-800-959-8281 for a copy.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Richmond Hill fee assistance program you must:

• Be a resident of Richmond Hill. Proof of residency will be required. Please submit 1 of the following: a recent utility bill, driver’s licence, a lease agreement or a mortgage statement.
• Have a total net individual or combined family income that falls below the Low Income Cut Off (LICO) amounts, as per Statistics Canada.
• Adults (18+) must provide a recent Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency. If this is not possible, proof of financial status is required and must be authorized by a banking official.
• Understand that subsidy requests are subject to final approval by Richmond Hill staff.
• Not be receiving funding from another source.

Personal information is protected under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 1989. Personal information is collected pursuant to the Municipal Act, R.S.O, 1990, Chapter M-45 as amended, S.207, Par. 28 and will be used for the purpose of financial assistance.
